Two Tauranga elected members have been involved in a code of conduct complaint.

The council said in a statement the complaint has been investigated and will be reported to a council meeting on March 24.

It related to conduct at a briefing by the executive to the mayor and councillors on March 5.

The code of conduct is a policy that describes how elected members should behave and carry out their duties.
