Emergency services called to Te Maunga transfer station scrub fire

Fire Emergency NZ was called out to a scrub fire at Te Maunga transfer station on Truman Lane this afternoon.

A spokesperson said the fire, which was approximately 5 x 10m, was caused by a power line arcing.

Three trucks were sent to the scene, he said.

The fire was put out after approximately 20 minutes.
