One person seriously injured after crash in Aongatete

One person has serious injuries after a crash involving two cars in Aongatete near Katikati.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene on Lockington Rd near State Highway 2 at 3.15pm.

A St John spokeswoman said one person with serious injuries was taken to Tauranga Hospital.

Another person was moderately injured in the crash.
