Reports of a chemical leak caused fire and emergency crews to rush out to Port of Tauranga early this morning.
A Northern communications spokesman told the Bay of Plenty Times investigations found the "chemical" leak was just water.
Four fire crews responded to the call at the Port of Tauranga
