The power outage affected 790 customers in Bethlehem. Photo / File

Hundreds of homes in Bethlehem were without power on Sunday night after a fault in an electrical cable caused a power outage in the area.

Powerco network operations manager Phil Marsh said the fault happened at 11.40pm and affected 790 customers.

Full supply was restored at 1.56am today.
