Mauao's Oruahine Track has reopened to the public after an 11-day closure for track maintenance.
Barriers and security guards had blocked access to Oruahine which runs from the Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park up to the Waikorire and 4WD tracks.
Access to the summit had been available via other tracks
