Police have been called to a two-car crash on Maunganui Rd, near Girven Rd, and drivers are urged to take care in the area.

A spokeswoman said police were called to the scene at 9.11am after a member of the public reported a crash between a car and a van.

The spokeswoman said no one was injured in the crash but the vehicles were still on the median strip on the road so passing motorists were urged to take care.
