Six cruise ships arriving in Tauranga within five days

Tauranga will have thousands of extra visitors over the next few days as six cruise ships sail into the port between now and Tuesday.

Today, the Sun Princess docked in the Port of Tauranga at 5.30am and would be departing at 5.30pm.

Two cruise ships were expected to arrive over the weekend with Sea Princess sailing in on Saturday morning and Noordam arriving on Sunday.

On Monday, the Golden Princess would be docking at the Port of Tauranga around 7am.

The 108,865 tonne vessel would make seven more visits to the city this year.

On Tuesday, January 16, Radiance Of The Seas and the Norwegian Jewel will arrive.

It will be the second of three visits the 93,502T Norwegian Jewel is expected to make to the city this cruise season.
