Police raid Papamoa property

A heavy police presence was felt in Papamoa today.

A police spokesperson said an operation was currently in place at an address on Hartford Ave.

The spokesperson said the incident was contained and it was not believed there was any risk to the wider public.

As the operation was still ongoing, police could not comment further, the spokesperson said.
