International hip-hop artist Yelawolf is one of the confirmed acts coming to the Bay Dreams festival in Mount Maunganui.

The warm-up party on January 1 would feature British dance and hip-hop act Example as the first night's headliner.

Also warming up would be The Upbeats feat MC Tiki Taane, The Peace Keepers, Average Rap Band, Earth Tiger and Kings.

The main party would get under way on January 2, with US hip-hop star Yelawolf just confirmed.

Also announced was LA's AC Slater, renowned for his unique blend of house music, dirty UK garage-inspired bass lines and old school rave synths.
