Tauranga MP Simon Bridges is giving members of the public the chance to ask him their burning questions.

Mr Bridges would be hosting an MP Question Time in Matua on October 4, and has invited all Tauranga residents.

Mr Bridges held an MP Question Time twice a year, which he
said gave his constituents an opportunity to grill him on things which are important to them.

"It's a great way for me to give people an update on things which I see going on in Tauranga and in Parliament, plus it's a way for people to share what's been on their minds."

Topics included, transport, education, housing and the economy.

"These events are not about me, it is a way to engage with people, who might not otherwise get in touch and share their views. This really helps me represent them in Parliament."

Mr Bridges said he looked forward to the varied questions he might be asked.

"People really can ask me anything."

The MP Question Time would be held at Otumoetai Sports & Recreation Club, Fergusson Park on October 4, from 7pm to 9pm.
