Harry the dog, a timid shih-tzu-cross with a tag that reads "cats suck'', is still missing.

He ran away during a fireworks display last Friday.

Harry fled a relative's Miles Lane home on Friday after being frightened by a fireworks that were part of a fundraising evening for Bethlehem College's PTA.

Owner Sharon Robertson said there was still no word on the families beloved pup.

"We have been out looking since early this morning. With school holidays starting we are hoping for kids to want to earn $1000 reward.

"We haven't even had a call today."

For the last few days the family had been inundated with calls from people thinking they sighted Harry.

"As sad as it is, it makes you realise there are a heap of beautiful people out there.
