Traffic is now flowing at the scene of a car crash in Tauranga this morning.

A small white car crashed into a powerpole at the intersection of Fraser St and 17th Ave about 8.20am.

Police and an ambulance were called.

It is understood no one was seriously injured.

Traffic was initially held up, but it was now flowing freely, a reporter at the scene said.
