Comvita director resigns

Director Edward Quilty has tendered his resignation from the Comvita Baord for immediate effect.

Mr Quilty was first appointed to be a director of Comitva Limited in August 2013, when Derma Sciences, Comvita's USA-based woundcare partner, became a significant shareholder in Comvita.

Mr Quilty resigned as the CEO of Derma at the end of 2015 and with his resignation it was agreed by the Comvita Board that it was no longer appropriate for him to comtinue as a director in the Comvita Board.

Comvita said it was grateful for his contribution, particularly as it related to keeping an ongoing strong relationship with Derma.
