A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged with arson after fire destroyed a Rangiuru home.
The man will appear in the Tauranga District Court on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the McMeeking Rd property, Te Puke, shortly before 3.30pm on Monday.
A Maori trust owned the three-bedroom home.
