The Tauranga Moana Night Shelter Trust has received a grant of $25,000 from BayTrust today.

In a Facebook post the night shelter gave its heartfelt thanks to BayTrust saying without such support from funders like BayTrust Moana Night Shelter would not be able to do what they do.

"We believe that the Nightshelter and the Social Work Service offered is vital to ensure that the growing population of homeless people in the Bay of Plenty, have access to safe, warm shelter alongside receiving the support required to end the cycle of homelessness," the post said.
