One of Tauranga's busiest highways has been reopened after a crash blocked lanes this evening.
West-bound traffic travelling on Takitimu Drive were stopped as emergency services worked to clear the scene of a two-car collision, near the merging lane before the Otumoetai turn off about 5.45pm.
A silver wagon andan orange hatchback both suffered damage to their bonnets and remained on the highway as firefighters, St John ambulance staff and police attended.
