This weekend's forecast has been changing all week but as of Friday night, rain is forecast for the Bay.
However, people shouldn't fret about getting cold with the MetService predicting highs of 25C all weekend.
After forecasting rain from Tuesday last week, the Bay has managed to turn on the sunshine, keeping clear skies for the Flying NZ's national championships and the Oceans 14 under-14 national championships.
Saturday will begin with drizzle, growing to showers in the afternoon but the showers are expected to clear on Sunday.
