A 44-year-old man was flown to Tauranga Hospital yesterday after he twisted his leg while on a fishing vessel near Great Mercury Island.
The Tauranga-based TrustPOwer TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched around 1pm and helicopter crew paramedics were able to stabilise the man at Home Bay.
