A four-wheel drive vehicle has rolled into a ditch in the Lower Kaimai on State Highway 29.
Police were called to the scene of one car in a ditch at 4.50pm at the intersection of Ngamuwahine Rd and SH29.
A police spokeswoman said a witness reported seeing the vehicle rolling
and going off the side of the road but was no longer at the scene.
A Fire and Emergency spokesman said a 4WD rolled and one person was initially trapped but had since been removed.
Neither media spokespeople were able to give an indication of the injuries.
