Have you ever wanted to learn how to create the perfect smoky eye?
Or would you prefer to know the hottest makeup tips off the catwalk?
Women in Tauranga have the chance to learn the tricks of the trade from one of the country's leading makeup artists when makeup brand M.A.C visits
Tauranga later this month.
For the first time in the Western Bay, M.A.C, a makeup brand used on catwalks and fashion shows around the globe, will host seven workshops at the Sebel Trinity Wharf, from October 28-31.
M.A.C products are unavailable to buy in the Western Bay but fans will be able to buy M.A.C products at the same time as learning how to apply it.
The educational-based workshops, hosted by senior artist Amber Dreadon, will give customers insight into the latest makeup trends and tips on makeup application.
M.A.C cosmetics communications manager Tatum Savage said the workshops were designed for anyone who wanted to learn more about makeup.
"It's not just for those who are confident with makeup, it's open to people at beginners level as well."
Each workshop focuses on a different area of make-up, from the latest catwalk trends to the perfect smoky eye, which Ms Savage said was the most requested makeup technique in M.A.C stores.
One of the workshop themes is "Back to Basics", which Ms Savage said was perfect for beginners.
It will cost $120 to attend each workshop but $100 will be redeemable against orders of M.A.C products made that day. "We like to keep [workshops] small and intimate so guests can get one-on-one attention from the artist."
Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
