Tattletale Saints return to New Zealand with their self-titled sophomore album and are performing in Mount Maunganui next week.
The Kiwi natives have spent years chasing down new sounds and songs, and are currently based in Nashville.
Tattletale Saints take a unique approach to Americana music, rolling jazz influences, coed
harmonies, upright bass, and electric guitar, creating sound that's as wide-ranging as the band's own travel schedule.
Their album was released in September last year and it has seen Cy Winstanley and Vanessa McGowan explore new directions, adding full-band arrangements to Winstanley's signature sharp, observational storytelling to the mix.
The New Zealand tour includes drummer Joe McCallum and opening artist, knuckles; the solo project of Matthew Mitchinson, who has returned to New Zealand after nearly a decade spent making music in London.
