Q: What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe and why?
A: A taupe-coloured longline jacket with satin collar, buttons and pocket bow detailing. It's soft and feminine, can be dressy or casual, and cost under $50
Q: How many pairs of shoes do you have?
A: Too many! My favourites are patent leather strappy high heels, a great pair of boots and my Nike "free" gym shoes.
Q: What are your wardrobe basics?
A: My 12 jackets, skirts, trousers and tops that co-ordinate well by being clever with colour. Over-tops and accessories add flair. Great fitting undergarments are the best basics.
Q: What do you wear to work?
A: A black skirt and top with a gorgeous microfibre red swing jacket is my favourite when doing image consultations and speaking engagements. For personal training, a sleeveless lighter puffer jacket in a gorgeous teal blue from Kathmandu.
Q: What's your weekend "uniform"?
A: Usually jeans and a feminine top.
Q: What's your oldest piece of clothing?
A: My red Ashley Fogel wool suit that I bought almost 20 years ago.
Q: What's the latest piece you've bought?
A: Leather pants to wear when I go out on a friend's Harley Davidson.
Q: What accessories do you use?
A: I spend about 25 per cent of my clothing budget on skincare and cosmetics, shoes, jewellery, belts and scarves. My favourite piece is an R M Williams Western belt buckle that my daughter gave me.
Q: Which piece of clothing could you not do without?
A: My stretch plain black skirt.
Q: What's the most you've spent on an item of clothing?
A: Most recently, I spent $400 on Italian winter boots.
