Q: What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe and why?
A: A black leather jacket - it goes with everything.
Q: How many pairs of shoes do you have?
A: About 18 - I've got casual, dress ones and boots. It's just like any woman's wardrobe.
Q: What are your wardrobe basics?
A: Black
trousers, dress jeans and jackets.
Q: What do you wear to work?
A: Suits.
Q: Your weekend ''uniform''?
A: Dress jeans, casual tops and casual shoes. I work a lot on the weekends. Sometimes I wear a rough old pair of jeans. You would never catch me in a pair of old track pants off my boat.
Q: What's your oldest piece of clothing?
A: It's from the year New Zealand won the America's Cup (1995). It's a limited edition
cap, in a rimu box which I keep in the shop.
Q: What's the latest piece you've bought?
A: A black and white gingham shirt, which is body-fitting. It's Gibson brand.
Q: What accessories do you use?
A: Cufflinks, neck chains, ties and pocket handkerchiefs.
Q: Which piece of clothing could you not do without?
A: Black trousers. I can go to my wardrobe and take out a pair of black trousers and everything else in the wardrobe will go with it. You can wear any sort of shirt, but at the end of the day what colour trousers do you wear but black? Grey is old-hat to me.
Q: What's the most you've spent on an item of clothing?
A: $1500 on a black Escena suit. It's an Italian design made in New Zealand. It's very special.
