Q: What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe and why?
A: A big green Huffer jacket my wife bought me from Wellington. I've had it for a few seasons now, it's pretty timeless.
Q: How many
pairs of shoes do you have?
A: I have four pairs: Nike running shoes, black leather shoes, a pair of brown leather weave shoes which I found at the op-shop, and some navy-blue hi-tops by Generic Surplus.
Q: What are your wardrobe basics?
A: Jeans, tees and over-sized jumpers and cardigans.
Q: What do you wear to work?
A: I teach guitar and drums so there is no real set dress code, so just my everyday wear.
Q: What's your weekend "uniform"?
A: Well, I really wear the same on Monday as I do on Saturday and Sunday, so just my regular all-week "uniform".
Q: What's your oldest piece of clothing?
A: Hmm ... I do a bit of op shopping, so to be specific and tell you exactly what the oldest item is or how old it is, I just couldn't say. But I would think I have some jumpers that would be from early 80s maybe even late 70s. In terms of something I personally have owned the longest, it would have be a variety of briefs which are easily at least five years old. They now seem to be showing their age more and more on a daily basis. Let's just say they are really, really breathable. I know what I want for a present.
Q: What's the latest piece you've bought?
A: I bought a Commoners Alike tee for my birthday.
Q: What accessories do you use?
A: Just my wedding ring and Seiko watch. I've worn my watch so much I can't go back. The tan-line it has left is like a tattoo, [it's] relentless.
Q: Which piece of clothing could you not do without?
A: My black Levi's jeans, I wear them most days.
Q: What's the most you've spent on an item of clothing?
A: I think I spent $190 on some Nobody jeans.
