The Incubator will slide open to reveal yet another show of musical diversity this weekend when Callum Gentleman delivers his eclectic mix of blues and folk noir - with the odd dash of country.
Vocalist/guitarist Callum, along with band mates Joel Vincen and Sam Loveridge, will play the second date
of the Cheap Whiskey Tour promoting his four-track EP, simply entitled Callum Gentleman, released in April last year.
As well as releasing material under the Callum Gentleman moniker, he also releases his spoken word pieces under the name The Panhandlers (NZ), which are quirky, self-analytical poems and stories with dark sonic soundscapes which help deconstruct his personal crises relating to everyday events.
Supporting Callum on this tour will be a solo venture for Jodie Peach from Miss Peach and the Travellin Bones.
Miss Peach is described by Matt Smith of Triple A Records as having "a seductive and melancholy voice with lyrics that conjure up distant and dusky landscapes", with a style which encompasses folk, gypsy, indie blues and a twist of country.
