Former Ultravox frontman Midge Ure is performing next month at Totara St as part of national tour.
It's part of his retrospective Something From Everything Tour which has a set list stretching back to 1977 from his time with punk supergroup the Rich Kids, through to Visage.
Who can forget
hits like Vienna, Dancing With Tear in My Eyes and Reap The Wild Wind? He'll be playing them and many more from his rich catalogue including songs from his acclaimed solo album, The Gift.
He will be accompanied by the India Electric Company - multi-instrumentalists Cole Stacey and Joseph O'Keefe - performing at least one song from each album.
Ure says the three-piece approach is a lot of fun and adds colour, texture, and depth to each song - a distinctly different approach to his solo tour here in April 2015.
