Look to the heavens if you want to be entertained this weekend.
A array of 30 aircraft, including classics manufactured as early as the 1930s and modern jets, will soar through the skies on Saturday afternoon.
The evening event was popular with the public last year, with the crowd almost
reaching the 10,000 mark. As a result, the same format has returned this year.
"Everybody likes displays of horsepower, skill and noise!" says Classic Flyers marketing manager Amy Scott.
And combined with the evening format, the family atmosphere, the ability to watch some very cool entertainment, with a bite to eat and drink in hand on a licensed area, you have a crowd pleaser, she says.
