We have some outstanding performers in our patch and it's refreshing to see how our local beach scenery is mixed with such talent.
Colourful Soul opened last night at Mauao Performing Arts Centre. The show deals with the painful subject of a young man (Chris, played by Chris Melville) wholoses his true love (Angelique, played by Alisa McGonagle) and with that his perfect life.
Grief brings Chris deep depression but after loss, there is Hope.
The audience is standing during the show, which creates involvement from the word go.
Music, dance, monologue, video, light, and of course colour is everywhere.
