They've just moved into new premises at 31a Waihi Rd, in the old building near Poplar Lane.
Founder and chairperson Rebecca Grigson says they have simply grown out oftheir
last premises in Third Ave. A lot of people didn't know where they were and the new spot is in a better location.
"Here in Tauranga, we have also seen significant growth in the sport. Bay Twisters now has over 140 registered athletes," Rebecca says.
The sport is the is the fastest growing sport for girls with more than 4.5 million registered athletes worldwide, Rebecca says. Cheerleading will also be an Olympic sport from 2020.
