Women rejoice - a top beauty store is opening in Tauranga.
Natural cosmetic and skincare brand Lush is opening a store in Bayfair Shopping Centre.
The shop is due to open in six weeks, on November 29, once store renovations are finished.
Lush PR and marketing manager Megan Taylor said the company was
excited to bring the store to the Western Bay of Plenty and offer Lush products to the community.
"It's really exciting to open a store in a brand new market. Research was conducted by the shopping centre, which indicated the region identified Lush as a brand they would like represented and we were thrilled to accept the invitation."
Lush stores operate worldwide and sell a range of natural products including soaps, deodorant, shaving creams, bubble bar slices, haircare, skincare and items for your bath and shower.
Some of the most popular products sold in New Zealand are Angels On Bare Skin facial cleanser, Dream Cream body moisturiser and Sex Bomb bath ballistic, Ms Taylor said.
The opening of Lush in Bayfair Shopping Centre will create six jobs.
However, Ms Taylor said the opening would have a "knock-on" effect, "as new positions will in turn be created in our local manufacturing department and also with local fair-trade suppliers".
Customer service roles will be available as well as casual positions for the Christmas period. Application forms are available at www.lushnz.com
