Company offers shopping tours

Lets Go Shopping Tours is a travel company offering fully escorted shopping tours to Los Angeles for groups of 15-25.

The company was started by Pauline Hunt in June of this year, after travelling overseas on various trips and realising her shopping fix was never satisfied.

While visiting her children in L.A and squeezing in some shopping, Pauline made a passing comment to her son about how easy and cheap shopping in the US was, with a lot of variety.
He said, "you should be taking shopping tours."

From there the idea grew into reality. Pauline came home to NZ then returned to the USA within two short weeks to do research for the tours. Working alongside the Los Angeles Tourism Board and with regular contact with suppliers, the first tour is set for March 2014.

When asked what future plans she has for her business Pauline says, "To have a successful business first and foremost.

To introduce future destinations within the USA to San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York City and I want this business to be a premium product, a household name."

Pauline's best business tip: "Never be afraid to ask for help. Be open to many different opinions as long as you still stay within your core values."
