The latest BNZ Bay of Plenty export awards will be launched at a breakfast function in the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel on March 23. Entries close on May 2, and the awards evening will be held at the Baypark Conference Centre on June 24.
At the launch, prospective entrants will hear
business growth stories from leading exporters. Speakers will include Alan Bougen, founding director of Comvita NZ; Andrew Lilly, managing director of Stainless Downunder, a former supreme winner; and Jake Pyne, director of You Know We Ain't, which sells the clothing label Lower.
The New Zealand Packaging Council is also calling for entries for the 2011 Environmental Packaging Awards, which recognise outstanding efforts towards sustainability. Entries close on May 31.
