The winner of the 10th annual environmental photographer of the year competition is Quoc Nguyen Linh VInh, from Vietnam, for his image of a young girl and her mother, surrounded by pollution, making their living by collecting waste.
Other winners included Raju Ghosh, for his picture of a small boy struggling through a flooded alleyway in West Bengal, and Jose Luis Rodriguez, who captured a kingfisher against a backdrop of severe factory pollution.
