Woman finds hidden cameras set up by mum's boyfriend

A daughter who went looking for proof that her mother's live-in boyfriend was having an affair ended up finding thousands of nude photos and videos of herself when she looked at his computer files.

Matthew Bordeaux, 48, was arrested on Sunday for secretly recording the young woman in their Sunrise, Florida home, reports the Daily Mail.

The daughter had found pictures and video of herself while she was naked and undressing in the privacy of her bedroom and bathroom.

Police eventually uncovered more than 2,500 images dating back to December 2016 that were taken with hidden cameras that Bordeaux had allegedly set up in the home, according to court documents obtained by the Sun Sentinel.

The daughter told police she thought Bordeaux, who has been living with them for seven years, was having an affair so she decided to search the computer to confirm her suspicions.

She said they each have their own computer profiles, but Bordeaux's was not password-protected and she found a folder marked 'hidden' where the images were kept.

The camera was hidden in a wall socket that Bordeaux had allegedly given the daughter when they moved into the home at the beginning of the year.

The daughter said Bordeaux had told her he had taken it from their old home in Coral Springs because it was too expensive and he didn't want to leave it with the new owners.
Police also found a camera hidden in an AC adapter in the bathroom.

The cameras had memory cards that allowed him to transfer images to the computer.
Bordeaux was jailed on two charges of video voyeurism on Monday. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
