Female teacher guilty of turning classroom into 'sex den' for boys

A teacher has been found guilty of turning her classroom into a private sex den for teenage boys during school hours.

Former California English teacher Danielle Matko could face six years in jail after she was convicted of oral copulation with a minor and three counts of lewd acts with a minor.

The San Mateo County District Attorney's Office said the all the incidents are believed to have taken place in 2015, involving a 15-year-old boy.

Police said the encounters happened during free periods and after school.

According to the prosecutor, the 35-year-old teacher showed the student her breasts and let the student touch them before she made sexual advances on the boy.

In another incident, the prosecutor alleges Matko showed another student her breasts.

A photo of the incident was taken by another student, a key piece of evidence in bringing down Matko, San Mateo County Chief Deputy District Attorney Karen Guidotti told the San Jose Mercury News.

"Female teachers who commit offenses such as this are fairly few and far between," Guidotti said. "But we see it."

Matko is facing a six-year sentence and must register as a sex offender.

She denied all allegations.

Matko was fired from her job.
