The Green Lantern ride at Movie World on the Gold Coast has become stuck for the second time in eight months.
Footage emerged online this afternoon showing a cart of the rollercoaster at a standstill at the top of the conveyor belt.
The incident occurred shortly after 1pm.
However a Movie World spokeswoman said the attraction suffered "a short delay" and all guests were able to get off the ride.
"We had a delay on the Green Lantern ride and they're almost up and operational again," a spokeswoman told the Brisbane Times.
It was "just a delay," she said.
The same ride malfunctioned in March when a wheel component became loose and stranded 13 guests, some for as long as three and a half hours.
Firefighters were called to rescue riders during the March incident but a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the park had not called for their services on Sunday.
The incident occurred days after the theme park's 16 attractions passed a safety audit triggered by an accident at Dreamworld that claimed four lives when the Thunder River Rapids ride malfunctioned.
That park is yet to reopen.
