135 years ago today, Albert Einstein, one of the world's most influential physicists was born in Germany. A Nobel Prize recipient, Einstein was a genius who published hundreds of both scientific papers and non-scientific works. His quirky nature, insights and sheer genius has continued to inspire people long after his death in 1955.

Today, in celebration of his birthday, we share 10 of his most enduring quotes.

1. On simplicity:

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction."

2. On education:
