RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) News reports say about 500 Brazilian Indians protesting over land demarcation issues have clashed with guards outside the presidential palace.
Guards showered demonstrators with pepper spray as they climbed a ramp leading to the Planalto Palace in the capital of Brasilia.
G1 Internet portal said no injuries were immediately reported.
The report said the protesters were angry about a ministerial decision they say would hinder the creation of Indian reservations.
