RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) Federal police in Brazil say they're carrying out one of the country's biggest operations to combat child pornography.
Authorities say that a two-year investigation has identified nearly 100 people allegedly involved in the creation and distribution of child pornography.
More than 80 search warrants are now being executed as part of "Operation Glasnost" and federal police say in a statement than another 200 people remain under investigation in the case.
Police say they gave the operation a Russian name because computer servers in Russia were used to share a large portion of the child pornography.
Brazil's federal police say they're also investigating Brazilians living in the U.S., with the help of the FBI.
