Twenty-fourth suicide in Bridgend, Wales

A young woman has been found hanged in Bridgend, Wales, taking the toll of suicides by young people in the area to 24 since the start of last year.

Lisa Dalton, a 25-year-old mother of one, had been battling anorexia since she was a teenager.

She was discovered in her two-bedroomed semi-detached home just weeks after coming out of hospital.

A further 23 young people aged 15 to 27 have been found hanged in Bridgend borough since the start of 2007. Police say the deaths are not linked.
