Angry revenge prompted a Whanganui woman to ram into the back of her ex-partner's parked Mazda vehicle.
Rawinia Ngapai Wiari pleaded guilty to one charge of wilful damage when she appeared in Whanganui District Court on Tuesday.
Defence lawyer Richard Leith said Wiari was in an angry state when it happened and accepts she drove when she shouldn't have.
Judge Dugald Matheson said it was Wiari's first offence in 14 years but it was bad behaviour that could not be ignored.
"You can't go around having a hissy fit and go smashing into someone's car."
