It was an in-house battle of the scissors and clippers.
Just Cuts held a hairdressing competition on Sunday with staff across its New Zealand salons competing in one of three categories; male, female and creative.
Four stylists took part at the Whanganui salon and their efforts will now being judged against their colleagues nationwide.
Whanganui store owner Laurie Broomhall said it was the first time the company had held the internal competition.
"Stylists just love it, it's such a buzz," she said.
