Cook, bon vivant and media personality Annabelle White will host a fundraiser for Alzheimers Wanganui next month.
She will present a new show, Formalities and Faux Pas, which highlights etiquette and social behaviour. The perils of home entertaining will also be on the menu in the September 16 show.
All proceeds will go to Alzheimers Wanganui.
White, who has written 11 cookbooks and is a columnist and TV and radio personality, said the evening would be full of helpful hints with plenty of humour and true stories.
"It will be a terrific night with much laughter, fascinating stories, good tips and community spirit, helping a great cause and with everyone leaving at the end of the evening feeling a great deal better than when they arrived."
The event will be at Wanganui Racecourse's Eulogy Lounge. Tickets can be bought at 136 Victoria Ave and cost $35, which will cover admission, supper and a glass of wine.
Alzheimers Wanganui provides support services for people living with dementia and their families in the Wanganui, Rangitikei and Waimarino area.
