St John Ambulance staff say they are having an unusually quiet Masters Games.
Located in the heart of the Games Village, the St John events staff have treated everything over the past few days, from a major cardiac arrest to sprains and strains.
Hannah George and Mel Chittenden said at the 2013 Masters Games St John treated 100 patients. Halfway through these Games, they've treated just 20.
The most serious event was on Saturday, the first day of the games, when a young man had a heart attack while playing in the touch tournament.
"Fortunately for him, bystanders were able to deliver CPR, and we were there within three minutes. He was taken to hospital and is now in the cardiac unit at Wellington Hospital," Mel said.
