Amelia Marshall-Darbyshire, five, was enjoying her very first day at school at her home yesterday, with new teacher Rochelle Collins.
Mother Fleur Marshall said Amelia had been looking forward to school for some time, and it was much safer for her to be at home.

Mrs Collins said Amelia was one of two of her five-year-old pupils, and she was looking forward to teaching and having fun with her.
"I will teach her language skills, reading and writing," Mrs Collins said.
