Senior Sergeant Mike Sutton said police were keen to return the stolen goods to their owners.

"The items themselves are quite unique and we would like to identify the owners to determine where they were taken from and to return the property."

A 16-year-old Featherston boy has been arrested in relation to the burglaries and referred to Youth Aid.

Anyone who recognised the items should contact Masterton police on (06) 370 0300.
