Do you travel light or heavy?

Light, I take one case for a trip of between two and three weeks.

Cattle or first class?

On long haul we travel business, short flights we don't. Emirates is my favourite airline, the service is fantastic and flights go directly from Dubai to all the ports we need access to in Europe.

I can't travel without...

A great blazer and my gym gear.

What type of suitcase do you carry?

Samsonite.

What's always in your hand luggage?

A laptop, good book, change of clothes and toiletries.

What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?

A beautiful timepiece.

Best packing tip?

I recommend packing several tailored plain blue shirts. They look exceptional paired with most items in a classic wardrobe, both in a formal and a casual setting.

Most memorable trip?

Probably my first trip, around four years ago. It was incredibly inspiring and completely opened my eyes to the global scale of the luxury menswear industry. It became very apparent there was a real opportunity to grow the luxury categories in our collections. Being able to present the most desirable items in the market is something I am very passionate about achieving.

Eddie Von Dadelszen is the creative director at Working Style.
