Dom George from The Country Early Edition caught up with director Slavko Martinov for a chat about his latest New Zealand documentary Pecking Order.
Pecking Order follows the trials and tribulations of the Christchurch Poultry, Bantam and Pigeon Club. Slavko describes it as a "Best in show for chickens".
The idea for Pecking Order came about by accident and Martinov reveals exactly what made him compelled to tell the story.
He also sheds light on the characters at the heart of the film which has been well-received by fans and critics so far.
