It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is brought to you by Jamie Mackay's love for Roger Federer. Our bleary-eyed host has been up in to the wee hours watching tennis. Songs today have a Roger theme.
On with the show: First up today is weather guru Phil Duncan. Monday's resident weather expert tells farmers to expect a continuing big dry in the north, unless the tropics can come to the party in February.
Then we catch up with Richard Loe. Today the Canterbury farmer and former All Black looks forward to Saturday's Farmlands Cup clash (Highlanders v Crusaders) at Darfield. He also ponders the future for wool.
Rural raconteur time next with Jim Hopkins. He gets serious about dairy cows going to China and water quality going to the dogs thanks to sheep and Aucklanders.
Then we round off the show with today's panel - Grant McCallum and Steve Wyn-Harris. These two farmers are from the drought regions of Northland and Hawkes Bay. They agree on the dry but not the Donald!
